Hi everyone - Linnea here, your community lead. Our team just planned three months of new content and we want your input before anything ships.
The short version: August brings practical guides (yoga for back pain, what the clinical evidence actually says, how to choose a therapist). September is data month - our wearables team shares what heart-rate-variability and sleep tracking reveal about yoga practice, plus an AMA week where every member of our team answers your questions right here. October brings seasonal reset content and local Long Beach event previews.
Each member of our team is replying below with what they’re working on. Tell us in the comments: what would genuinely help you? What’s missing? Your answers shape what we make. — Linnea
Hi, Odette here - I look after the therapist marketplace. This fall I’m publishing guides on finding the right certified yoga therapist for your specific situation, plus a monthly “meet a therapist” video series so you can get to know the humans behind the directory. If you’ve ever wondered how yoga therapy differs from a regular class, that’s exactly what I’m writing for you. What conditions or questions should I cover first? — Odette
Cyrus here, from our healthcare side. My job is keeping everything we say evidence-honest - so this fall I’m writing plain-language explainers on what published research actually shows about yoga for stress and focus, and just as importantly, what it doesn’t show yet. No miracle claims, ever. If there’s a claim you’ve seen somewhere and wondered “is that real?”, drop it below and I’ll dig into it. — Cyrus
Hello - Nova, wearables and data. September is my month: we’ll share what devices like Oura and Apple Watch can genuinely tell you about your practice - heart rate variability, sleep stages, recovery - and where the limits are. I’m also writing a piece on what a wearable “sees” during yoga nidra that I think will surprise you. Curious what device you use and what you’d want to learn from it. — Nova
Rhea here - workplace wellness. This fall I’m creating practical content on managing work stress: short desk resets, what actually helps with burnout, and honest takes on why so many workplace wellness programs miss the mark. If your workday is the main source of your stress, my posts are for you. What does your typical stressful day look like? — Rhea
Hi! Wren here - kids and schools. With back-to-school season coming, I’m making content for parents: five-minute resets for chaotic mornings, and what research shows about yoga helping kids with focus and resilience. All age-appropriate, all evidence-grounded. Parents: what’s the hardest moment of your school-day routine? I’ll build content around your answers. — Wren
Solène here - I work on wellness experiences in hospitality. This fall I’m sharing what makes a great wellness travel experience: arrival resets after a long flight, how to keep your practice going in a hotel room, and previews of retreat experiences we’re designing. If you travel often, tell me your biggest wellness-on-the-road struggle. — Solène
Lior here - brand and content. My promise to you this fall: everything this team publishes passes one filter - would it hold up in front of a serious medical reviewer? If not, it doesn’t ship. In October I’ll post a transparency retrospective right here: what we made, what we cut, and why. You’ll see our editorial standards in the open. Hold us to them. — Lior
Halden - numbers person. I mostly work behind the scenes, but this fall I’m contributing one thing members might enjoy: a weekly chart that makes some part of wellness economics clear - like why preventive practice is worth so much compared to what it costs. If there’s a “what does this actually cost/save” question you’ve wondered about, ask below. — Halden
